Our Services

Professional services

We specialise in supporting you through your recuperation and recovery, so we focus on acute care. We create a sustainable lifestyle plan through counselling and education so you can move through to health, freedom or sobriety in the easiest way possible. Our staff are devoted to getting you through the initial stages of your detox in the most comfortable way possible.

Before arrival, clients have a medical assessment with a specialist medical practitioner done offsite or via phone or video conference. After admission, clients have daily 1:1 counselling to support their process, with massage, acupuncture, fitness, nutrition and lifestyle advice through the day. We also offer fun recreation activities and outings.

We focus on physical detoxification with nutrition, exercise and creating new lifestyle habits. If you require medication during your stay, we integrate your medical needs by keeping your prescriptions safely locked in a safe in your room.

We don’t lock the door after you leave, After completing your stay, you will be offered 10 free follow-up sessions with our counselling team. You will also be welcome to drop in and visit us for lunch or a cuppa.

We are with you every step of the way

Every step of your recovery is supported at our private rehab facility. Whether you need rest, education, health support or addiction advice, we are here to help. You may need a drug or alcohol withdrawal program, a diet overhaul or a good sleep. You may need a longer all-inclusive holistic treatment plan. You may need both. Or you may just need a big rest away from the pressures of life to work on your health recovery.

Our intake staff will assist you to plan your stay to achieve your goals. Identifying the root cause of your health breakdown, stress or addiction and having lifestyle strategies to overcome habits is vital.

Our goal is to make sure you complete your recovery process successfully and learn relapse prevention strategies. Our post-care support team will keep in contact with you after you leave and help you stay in touch. Relapse prevention is an integral part of this program to ensure sustainable long term recovery.

Medication and pharmacotherapy

During your detox phase, medication is an important strategy to help minimise side effects and cravings or help you sleep. This is called pharmacotherapy and is a specialised area of medicine. Before your arrival you will see an external specialist addiction prescriber who will prescribe individualised medication for your time at our service. During your stay, our staff will supervise your medication administration to ensure you are safe and well.

Complementary Therapies

We also believe addiction recovery responds well to specialised medical intervention alongside complementary therapies.

For this reason, all clients are offered complementary therapies for their withdrawal and rehabilitation phases as a personal choice.

Finding emotional balance and mental relaxation is vital to prevent relapse. Our team will help you design a wellbeing routine that will suit your recovery program.

Our complementary therapists offer a range of modalities to complement your detox, including:

  • Massage
  • Acupuncture
  • Acupressure, Reflexology and Bowen therapy
  • Yoga and exercise
  • Diet, supplementation and nutritional advice
  • Swimming, water and spa therapy

We treat

The following substances require withdrawal support:

  • Hallucinogens (LSD, PCP, Magic Mushrooms (psilocybin), DMT, Ketamine etc)
  • Benzodiazepines

Food And Nutrition

We believe in the health promoting effects of home cooked meals and the benefits of enjoying your meals. Our kitchen provides healthy gourmet meals. Meals are prepared according to fresh wholefood principles, with foods that promote detoxification, mental health and energy, such as fresh fruits, salads and vegetables. Eating local seasonal produce is important to us.

Enjoying food is important during your detox, so we also love to lash out and have freshly made cakes for afternoon tea and desserts for dinner. Clients are offered coffee and tea with breakfast, followed by decaffeinated beverages after lunch. Fresh juices and smoothies are available during the day.

What Is Detox And Rehab?

Addiction recovery is in two parts for most people. A Detox is the first part of the process where the body detoxifies on a physical level. This may require specific medication for some detoxes such as alcohol to prevent unwanted cravings, help with sleep and anxiety and minimise side effects of withdrawal. You may need a detox for alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine (Ice), cannabis, GHB, prescription medication or MDMA and hallucinogens.

Rehab is the non-physical part of withdrawal which is a minimum four weeks and does not require medication. It can take four weeks to change addictive patterns and full recovery can take several months. The best recoveries are usually the longer stays, but everyone is different.
