Relationships can get complicated when anyone has health issues and its particularly hard to support a loved one coming off drugs or alcohol.
Involving a third-party such as a trusted friend, counsellor or medical practitioner can help someone realise that they need help.
Canberra Detox and Rehab Services can provide professional support that may assist your loved one to consider and start a treatment program, in a setting that is appropriate for them. If available, they could take up the option to enter a detox program straight away.
Our private and confidential intervention service includes:
- Preparation of treatment options based on initial screening and discussion with family members prior to intervention
- Professional support during a planned discussion in your home
- Assistance with transport and check-in where appropriate/available
An intervention shouldn’t be a threatening experience for your loved one. With the right professional support, it could be a new beginning.
The cost is $750 for intervention, average intervention is 1-2 hours with 2 staff from Canberra Detox and Rehab Services

About Canberra Detox & Rehab
Canberra Detox and Rehab is a private and confidential drug and alcohol addiction recovery retreat located in the Canberra region. Clients are offered a safe space for a supportive private health retreat in a relaxed retreat-style environment. We focus primarily on supporting the physical detox recovery process with privacy, care and understanding. We also offer rehabilitation programs, counselling, massage, therapies such as yoga, meditation and acupuncture.
