Before arrival, clients have a medical assessment with a specialist medical practitioner done offsite or via phone or video conference. After admission, clients have daily 1:1 counselling to support their process, with massage, acupuncture, fitness, nutrition and lifestyle advice through the day. We also offer fun recreation activities and outings.
We focus on physical detoxification with nutrition, exercise and creating new lifestyle habits. If you require medication during your stay, we integrate your medical needs by keeping your prescriptions safely locked in a safe in your room.
We don’t lock the door after you leave, After completing your stay, you will be offered 10 free follow-up sessions with our counselling team. You will also be welcome to drop in and visit us for lunch or a cuppa.

Our goal is to make sure you complete your recovery process successfully and learn relapse prevention strategies. Our post-care support team will keep in contact with you after you leave and help you stay in touch. Relapse prevention is an integral part of this program to ensure sustainable long term recovery.

Food And Nutrition
Enjoying food is important during your detox, so we also love to lash out and have freshly made cakes for afternoon tea and desserts for dinner. Clients are offered coffee and tea with breakfast, followed by decaffeinated beverages after lunch. Fresh juices and smoothies are available during the day.
Canberra detox and rehab caters to all food requirements and tastes. If you have any food cravings during your stay, we would be only too happy to accommodate you. If you have a craving for chocolate, we’ve got chocolate. Our cook is happy to accommodate vegetarians, vegans and allergy sufferers. The menu does include dairy, fish, chicken and red meat for non-vegetarians.
What Is Detox And Rehab?
Rehab is the non-physical part of withdrawal which is a minimum four weeks and does not require medication. It can take four weeks to change addictive patterns and full recovery can take several months. The best recoveries are usually the longer stays, but everyone is different.
