The Impact of Military Service on Mental Health

During your military service, we know that veterans often experience very traumatic events which can have a profound impact on your mental well-being. Conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders are commonly observed among veterans.

Canberra Detox and Rehab Services recognise the importance of mental health, we provide rehabilitation programs for veterans focusing on providing comprehensive care that includes therapy, counselling, and medication management. By addressing the underlying issues, these programs aim to help veterans overcome their mental health challenges and regain control of their lives.

Addressing Drug and Alcohol Addiction

Drug and alcohol addiction are prevalent issues among many veterans, often used as coping mechanisms for the stress and trauma they have faced. It is crucial to break these destructive habits and we can provide veterans with the necessary tools to lead a better and healthier life.
